Culture of Upazila

Bullfighting has been practiced in Terkhada Upazila for about 60 to 70 years in the festive mood. In the dry season of the year, i.e. in the summer, some classes of people in the area organize the bullfight in the open field or on the bill. People from several nearby districts participated in the bullfight. Some bulls or bull fighters from Gopalganj, Madaripur, Faridpur, Narail, Bagerhat, Pirojpur, Jessore and Sunamganj, Sylhet, Habiganj districts of Sylhet division. All these fights are organized. Thousands of spectators responded to the fights from the first round, the second round, the third round.

Apart from bullfighting, songs, boating, hadudu games are also popular in this upazila.
